Construction starting on Potbelly Sandwich Works at Mayfaire
WILMINGTON (WWAY) — After months of anticipation, construction is starting on the Potbelly Sandwich Works location at Mayfaire.
The first Cape Fear-area location opened in Wilmington in July 2020, at 2515 S. 17th St., Unit A. near the New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The second location was announced in November 2022.
Also in the works is a location in Greenville, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop, a national chain based in Chicago, is expected to open 13 new locations to open across North and South Carolina.
