Cop Camp returns to Wilmington this summer

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department has opened up applications for its Cop Camp later this summer.

Cop camp is designed to provide children with an opportunity to positively interact with law enforcement personnel.  During the five-day camp, children take part in recreational activities, field trips, educational experiences, and a community service project.

The first session which takes place June 23rd through 27th is for fifth and sixth graders. The second session takes place July 7th through 11th and is for third and fourth graders.
