Council approves second entrance for Love Grove community

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington City Council unanimously approved the start of roadwork for the Love Grove Community Tuesday night.

That work is set to cost nearly $770,000 and is part of the city’s transportation bond.

The Love Grove community has only one entrance located over a train track and a train derailment can close off the neighborhood from the rest of the city of Wilmington.

The council hopes the work will begin as soon as possible.
