WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — More roadways in Wilmington are now paved with brick.

Crews recently wrapped up a project repairing sections of the brick roadway on Queen Street between Second and Third streets.

They removed the asphalt-patched sections of the road and replaced it with historic brick. They also added concrete headers at the intersections with Second and Third streets.

This comes months after crews paved portion of South Front Street with bricks.
