Wilmington warehouse fire ruled accidental
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington fire officials say a fire at a warehouse was accidental.
Wilmington Fire crews and New Hanover County Fire crews put out the fire Saturday morning. It happened at 1305 South 12th Street.
Wilmington fire spokesman Sammy Flowers said there were heavy flames showing from the exterior this morning. He said crews immediately went into defensive mode and had several attack lines on the fire. The fire was eventually contained.
Flowers said the fire was ruled an accidental fire, and the cause was electrical. Loss estimates to the structure and content are $200,000. No injuries to emergency personnel have been reported.
