5 displaced after 4-alarm fire rips through apartments in Horry County

Horry County Fire Rescue responded to a two-alarm fire on the 9000 block of Shore Drive.

Crews were initially dispatched at 11:01 PM Tuesday night, where a second alarm was sent.

Right before 1:00 a.m., the fire was upgraded to a third alarm fire, and just after 2:00 a.m., it was upgraded to a four-alarm.

Around 12:30 a.m. HCFR tweeted the fire was under control, this was before the fire was upgraded.
