Crews replacing damaged boards on Carolina Beach Boardwalk

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Work is underway to replace damaged boards on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk.

Work began Tuesday on the southern end of the boardwalk and will continue north of the public restrooms Wednesday.

There will be intermittent closures to small areas while repairs are being done.

Pedestrians should use alternate access points during this time.
