Crews replacing more roadway with brick in downtown Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Months after replacing portions of South Front Street with bricks, the same is being done on another Wilmington road.
City crews are hard at work repairing sections of existing brick roadway on Queen Street between Second and Third Streets.
They spent part of Monday removing asphalt-patched areas and replacing them with historic bricks.
Crews are also adding concrete headers to the intersection with Second and Third.
Work is expected to be completed in around three weeks.
