MONKEY JUNCTION, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County Fire Rescue responded to a car fire in the Monkey Junction Walmart parking lot Tuesday night.

According to NHCFR, crews found a white Ford F-150 fully engulfed in flames during the winter storm warning. Their team worked swiftly and extinguished the fire within 10 minutes, successfully preventing it from spreading to the nearby store and gas pumps.
