UPDATE: Search crews find man in water off Holden Beach

HOLDEN BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County dispatchers say crews found the man they were searching for in the water off Holden Beach over the weekend.

Holden Beach Police said crews started searching for the man Saturday night after he ran from an officer following some sort of domestic situation.

Dispatchers did not have further information on how and where crews found the man, or on his condition.
