Cruz takes Alaska caucuses

(AP) — Ted Cruz has won the Republican presidential caucuses in Alaska.

The voting was close, with Cruz holding a slight edge over Donald Trump even early in the evening.

But Trump locked in seven states, increasing his delegate total to at least 274 overall.
