Dairy Queen removing sugary drinks from kids’ menu
UNDATED (CNN) — Dairy Queen is the latest chain removing sugary drinks from its kids’ menu.
The move comes at the request of health advocates.
The ice-cream and fast-food chain is taking soft drinks and its Arctic Rush frozen beverage off its children’s menu, and replacing them with bottled water and milk.
The company says the healthier options will be available in September.
McDonald’s, Burger King and Wendy’s have all made similar moves.
