Dawson’s Creek home up for auction with a twist
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) –The home where Joey Potter, played by Katie Holmes, lived on the hit 90s TV show Dawson’s Creek is now up for auction. Starting Friday, the bidding will begin online and continue until March 21st.
The owners of the house have been part of Dawson’s Creek’s journey since the very beginning, but they’re now looking to build a family home on the property. While the house itself is included in the auction, the land is not.
Realtor Chris Luther shares why:
“They felt rather than tear it down, with the history of it, there’s a good chance people might be interested in purchasing it and moving it somewhere. It’s a little bit of a unicorn in terms of a project for us, so we felt like this made the most sense to try and see if we could find somebody who could make it into something that makes sense.”
If you’re interested in purchasing a piece of TV history, the auction listing is available now.
