Deputies arrest 10 in major drug bust

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Deputies with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office arrested 10 people during a drug bust this week. Deputies patrolled Clarkton and Bladenboro in response to citizen complaints.

Willie Lee Melvin Jr. was charged with one count of Sell/Deliver Marijuana, one count of Possession With Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Marijuana, one count of Sell/Deliver Counterfeit Controlled Substances and one count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Counterfeit Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $100,000.

Roosevelt Dudley was charged with one count of Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance and one count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $25,0000 secured.

Johnnie Percy McKoy was charged with one count of Sell/Deliver Counterfeit Controlled Substance and one count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Counterfeit Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $50,000.

Joshua Joquan Byrd, 29 was cited and released for Possession of Marijuana, Driving While License Revoked and Expired Registration.

Wilford Brad Davis was cited and released for Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia and No Operators License and Expired Registration.

Nashawn Cortez Patrick was cited and released for Possession of Marijuana.

Tziah Najee Lesane was arrested and held under a $2,500 bond for Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.

Ricky Lee Smith was cited for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia, Display Fictitious Registration and Fail to Register Motor Vehicle.

Makavelli Willie McLeod was cited for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia, Display Fictitious Registration, Fail to Register Motor Vehicle.

Dwayne Dennis Rivers was cited for Speeding 80 mph in a 55mph zone, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
