Deputies release photo of truck suspected in chemical theft

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying whoever might be involved in an early-morning theft.

Investigators say at about 3:45 a.m., someone went onto the property of Ag-Mart Farms on Blue Banks Loop Road in Leland and took approximately $25,000 worth of herbicide and pesticide.

Detectives believe the suspect or suspects were in a white, four-door, full size GMC pick-up with chrome rims pulling a dual-axle trailer.
