Deputies searching for armed robbery suspects

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Deputies say they are looking for three suspects involved in an armed robbery at a Dunkin’ Donuts.

The robbery happened at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Carolina Beach Road in Monkey Junction at 9:40.

Investigators said the suspects entered the Dunkin’ Donuts through the open back door and that one of the suspects had a silver handgun.

Deputies said that the suspects were covered from head to toe in clothing, including masks, and could not tell the race of the suspects.

They said that they took cash and ran away on foot through the Home Depot parking lot.
