Details released about UNCW ‘Selection Sunday Celebration’

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Seahawk fans are invited to a special party at Trask Coliseum on Sunday to see where the men’s basketball team is placed in the NCAA Tournament.

The “Selection Sunday Celebration” will begin with the doors opening at 4:30 p.m. The CBS Selection Show will air on the video board inside Trask from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Entertainment from the UNCW cheerleaders, dance team and pep band, as well as other entertainment will also be part of the party.

The Seahawks won their fifth CAA title earlier this week in Baltimore.

This will be the fifth trip to the NCAA Tournament for the Seahawks.
