Domino’s Pizza teams up with the Wilmington Fire Department for Fire Prevention Month
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — October is fire prevention month and Domino’s Pizza is teaming up with the Wilmington Fire Department to spread fire safety.
Starting Tuesday at Domino’s locations in Wilmington, every pizza box will have a fire safety flyer that lets you know for the price of a pizza you could buy a smoke alarm.
A spokesperson for Domino’s in the Cape Fear says collaboration is important for community engagement.
“Here at Domino’s, we like to work with the community, especially the fire department. We’re trying to engage our community and help out our first responders with what we can,” Ismael Batres said.
If you need a fire alarm and live within city limits you can get one for free from the Wilmington Fire Department.
