Dramatic finish; West Bladen wins own tournament with flair

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — West Bladen trailed for most of the game on Wednesday night against Hoke County. The Knights regained the lead in the second half, but Hoke County nailed a three at the end of the second half to force overtime. In overtime West Bladen’s John Bowen threw up a three pointer with three seconds left. It was perfect. West Bladen beat Hoke County 67-66 to capture the Woodmen Life Christmas Tournament at West Bladen High School.
