BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The North Carolina Highway Patrol has released new details in a deadly crash that happened in Bolivia earlier this week.

According to NCHP, a car driven by 35-year-old Holden Soles of Southport was traveling north on Old Ocean Highway in Bolivia around 11:50am on Tuesday. The report says the vehicle drove left of the center and off the roadway. It traveled along the ditch bank for about 100 feet before striking a water pipe and coming to rest in the water, underneath a bridge.

Soles was pronounced dead at the scene. NCHP says no other vehicles were involved and Soles was the only person in the vehicle that crashed.
