Early morning campground fire in Supply injures one, claims life of a pet

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Tri-Beach volunteer Fire Department responded to the Ocean Breeze Campground on Destiny Caitlyn Avenue in Supply before 3 am.
Officials say a portable shed or trailer caught fire and spread to a nearby RV.
Two people, one dog and one cat were inside the RV at the time.
Both people were able to get out, one with minor injuries.
The dog also got out, unfortunately the cat died in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
