Early morning Wallace house fire kills two people
WALLACE, NC (WWAY) — A house fire early Wednesday morning killed two people in Wallace.
Members of several fire units responded just after 5:00 a.m. to the blaze on South NC 41 Highway near Powell Page Road.
While performing fire suppression activities and searches of the structure, responders say they located two dead victims inside the home.
They have been identified as James Everett Willis, 71, and Diana Moore Brown, 70.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
