Early voting numbers are in for area counties

(WWAY) –Early voting for Tuesday’s election came to an end on Saturday, and the numbers are in for our area counties.

The biggest turnout was in New Hanover County with 2,770 people going to the polls early, while Pender County had the lowest turnout in our area with 304 early voters.

Brunswick County had 1,866 people cast their vote ahead of Election Day.

Bladen and Columbus County came in at 440 and 373 early voters, respectively.
