Low early voting turnout across the Cape Fear
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Across the Cape Fear Region Bladen and Pender Counties had the highest turn out for early voting.
Early voting polls closed Saturday, ahead of Tuesday’s primary election. WWAY reached out to the Board of Elections in our area.
In Bladen County, 12.18% of eligible voters participated in early voting. In Pender County 7.01% participated, in Columbus County 4.71%, in Brunswick County 3.76%, and only 3.32% of voters cast their ballot in New Hanover County.
