Easter evening fire damages barber shop building on Dawson Street

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Fire Department crews were on the scene Sunday of a structure fire at JB’s Barber Shop along Dawson Street.

Fire responded to the building a little after 5:00 p.m. Sunday according to tweets sent out by WFD.

The Red Cross was on scene talking with individuals, but at this time we are waiting to hear from the Fire Department if the blaze displaced anyone.

The second story of the building suffered the most damage. The fire department reported no injuries as a result of the incident.
