Eastern North Carolina area residents raise Alzheimer’s awareness for the Longest Day

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — More than 200 groups across North Carolina are raising awareness of Alzheimer’s with the Longest Day Event.

There are two local events happening around Wilmington:

• Bradley Creek Health Center at Carolina Bay (740 Diamond Shoals Road, Wilmington 28403) – making bouquets with their residents + various activities.

• Brightmore of Wilmington (2320 S 41st St, Wilmington, NC 28403) – Summer Solstice Walk on their campus with their residents from 10 – 11 a.m.
