SOUTHEASTERN NC (WWAY) — eCourts is now live in 13 additional counties along North Carolina’s coastline as of Monday, marking a major expansion of the state’s digital court system.

The latest rollout includes Bladen, Brunswick, Carteret, Columbus, Craven, Duplin, Jones, New Hanover, Onslow, Pamlico, Pender, Robeson, and Sampson counties.

This expansion brings eCourts to 62 counties statewide, providing electronic filing, online court record access, and digital case management to more than 7.7 million residents. The remaining counties will transition to eCourts later this year.

With eCourts now active in these coastal counties, attorneys are required to eFile all documents, including subsequent filings in open cases.

The online portal allows you to access court information online in eCourts counties, where you can search case information by name, attorney, citation, and more. You can view case information, records, and documents. The portal allows you to make instant online credit card transactions to pay fines and fees.
