ECU police investigate alleged gun incident near student recreation center
GREENVILLE, NC (WCTI) — East Carolina University police are investigating an incident where a group of about seven male juveniles allegedly pointed a handgun at a pedestrian near the ECU Student Recreation Center.
The incident occurred on November 27 on Cotanche Street and was reported just before 8:30 p.m.
The suspects, described as wearing hoodies, included two in navy coats with gray hoods and one in a black hoodie.
They were last seen walking south on the sidewalk away from campus towards 10th Street around 8:11 p.m.
