Edward Teach Brewing owner facing new charges stemming from November incident

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The owner of Edward Teach Brewing is facing several additional charges stemming from an incident that went viral online back in November.

The Alcohol Law Enforcement agency has filed three misdemeanor charges against Edward Teach owner David Sholar.

The charges include allowing fighting and disorderly conduct on the premises of an establishment permitted to sell alcohol, failure to superintend in person or through a manager, and knowingly allowing assault of a female and communicating threats on their premises.

Sholar has a March 21st court date for these charges.

WWAY has reached out to Edward Teach’s lawyer but has not heard back at this time.
