Ellen Kazura retires as CFA’s volleyball coach

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — Ellen Kazura announced Monday she has retired from her position as the head coach of CFA volleyball.

The Hurricanes had a strong campaign, winning 15 games for the third time in four years. That was followed by a deep playoff run where Kazura led them to the NCISAA state semifinals for the first time since the year 2000.

Cape Fear Academy says they hope to name her successor in March.
