Employees in Bladen County allegedly found with stolen items
BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two employees from Bladen County Waste Management Landfill were allegedly found with stolen items according Bladen County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office says the items stolen were a pallet of T-posts and multiple rolls of wire fencing.
Further investigation lead the deputy to an employees residence to follow up. When arriving at the residence, the deputy viewed a tarp with t-posts protruding out one end.
Deputies later executed a search warrant of the residence. All items reported stolen were found.
Christina Marie Hester, 44 of Bladenboro was charged with:
- Felony Larceny by an Employee
- Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
- Christina Hester was given a $15,000 Secured Bond.
Eric Joseph Hester, 49 of Bladenboro was charged with:
- Felony Larceny by an Employee
- Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
- Eric Hester was given a $20,000 Secured Bond.
Both are currently being held at Bladen County Detention Center.
