Enjoy music, eats and drinks at the annual Wilmington Food & Wine Festival


WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — During the second weekend of May, there is a festival in Wilmington all about local culinary cuisine.

The Wilmington Wine & Food Festival is in its sixth year at the Bellamy Mansion Museum and features top area chefs and the best of the wine, beer, and spirits industry. According to the festival website, it “provides a diverse range of epicurean experiences showcasing the area’s unique and rich culture and history.”

On Thursday, May 17, enjoy pre-festival events, including a winemaker dinner or a wine education seminar.

The festival officially kicks off Friday, May 18 with Toast of the Town: Coast to Coast and Boat! Wine! Lunch!, a lunch aboard Wilmington Water Tours. There is also the Bourbon & BBQ cocktail party at the Bellamy Mansion in the evening.

On Saturday, May 19, there will be the Corks & Forks Grand Tasting Event, featuring talents from the best locally owned restaurants. The food will be paired with more than 150 wines from around the world.

Finally, on Sunday, May 20, there is a family-friendly event at the mansion. Bubbles, Brews & Street Eats will bring together local breweries and food trucks.
