Exhibit at North Carolina Maritime Museum brings Blackbeard to life

BEAUFORT, NC (WNCT) — Three hundred years ago this month, one of the most famous pirates of all time ran his ship aground just off the Crystal Coast.

Blackbeard the Pirate is notorious for his vicious deeds. And here at the North Carolina Maritime Museum, a new exhibit is bringing him back to life this summer.

The museum is expanding their Queen Anne’s Revenge exhibit to include the truth about blackbeard and his pirate gang.
