Face coverings now required inside New Hanover County facilities

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — You will now have to wear a face covering while in all county and municipal buildings.

The New Hanover County Board of Commissioners voted on Monday at their regular meeting to require them.

The county acknowledges the CDC guidelines that say proper social distancing and the use of face coverings slows the spread of the virus.

So far, there have been more than 3,000 New Hanover County total COVID-19 cases and 21 deaths.
