Fair Bluff man arrested after ‘Father-Son Dispute’

FAIR BLUFF, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office says one family member is in the hospital and the other is in custody in a stabbing incident they’re calling a “father-son dispute.”
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded around 9:15 Sunday morning to the 2100 block of Main Street in Fair Bluff due to a reported stabbing.
James Earl Bostic of Fair Bluff is charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He is currently being held without bond.
The sheriff’s office says the victim is expected to make a full recovery.
