Farmer’s market provides unique opportunity for local businesses

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Some folks skipped the sand and went shopping this holiday instead.

The Wrightsville Beach Farmer’s Market opens every Monday throughout the summer and welcomes vendors selling everything from flowers and vegetables to pottery and artwork.

For some vendors like Morgan Biggerstaff with Coastal Terra, a farmer’s market provides a unique way to sell goods and connect with customers.

“We have local friends that we come to see at the market also. And we have people that follow us and we’re just trying to open up our market to different areas so if people know who we are in person then they’re also going to know who we are online,” said Biggeerstaff.

The market goes from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is located right inside the Wrightsville Beach Municipal Complex.
