Farmin’ Brands holds job fair for 20 positions

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A locally-sourced food supplier is now hiring.

Farmin’ Brands held a job fair this afternoon. Farmin is in the process of opening a grocery store downtown and they are starting the hiring process for that store.

Senior director of brand experience Randall Heath said they are trying to fill a total of 20 positions including full-time and part-time postings, a market manager, brand ambassadors, office assistants, culinary creatives, bakers, a bookkeeper, a produce broker, warehouse supervisors, CDL-drivers, farm operators, butchers, and more.

Heath said they are looking for something specific in their employees.

“The very, most important thing for us is the culture we’re building here. The vibrancy, the energy, the forethought for the individuals that come on board, so we’re looking for that first and then, from there it’s really the talent and skills they have and what positions on the bus we may have for them specifically.”
