Fifth man arrested in relation to Independence Mall incident

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — A fifth man has been arrested following a disturbance at Independence Mall on Dec. 23

Zymond Rashawn Ty’Neil Johnson, 18, was arrested Thursday, Jan. 1, on charges of carrying a concealed gun, going armed to the terror of the people and disorderly conduct in a public building.

Warrants show Johnson is accused of bringing a black assault rifle into Independence Mall.
