Fight mars CFCC basketball game; Seahawk women improve to 2-0 with win over Campbell
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The referees had to stop Wednesday’s basketball game at Cape Fear Community College due to a fight that broke out right before halftime between the Louisburg men’s basketball team and CFCC. The hometown Sea Devils led 51-34 when physical play led to the fight. The game did not resume. Suspensions are likely to be handed out. WWAY was at the game, but we left prior to the chaos in order to head over to UNCW for the Seahawk women’s basketball game.
