Fire officials investigating after blaze engulfs North Carolina church

GREENE COUNTY, NC (WNCT) — Fire officials are investigating a church fire in Greene County.

Greene County Fire Marshal Berry Anderson said Leventon Chapel Free Will Baptist Church along Highway 58 in the Bull Head area went up in flames Saturday.

The first call came in around 11:42 a.m.

Multiple agencies helped with the blaze, and the matter is being investigated by the SBI.
