Fire leaves mobile home a total loss

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — A fire destroyed a mobile home early Friday morning on West Ninth Street.

Investigators said the home is a total loss and looks like the cause was electrical.

They said the double-wide was a vacation home, so no one was there.

Firefighters say there was no damage to surrounding homes.
