Firefighters work to put out flames at abandoned structure

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — According to New Hanover County Dispatch, fire crews are on scene working to put out a blaze at an old, abandoned structure in Porter’s Neck.

Dispatchers say the call came in just before 2 a.m. this morning reporting a fire at the intersection of Market Street and Porter’s Neck Road.
