First round of The Endowment’s Community Grants Program open for applications

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Spring Cycle of The Endowment’s 2026 Community Grants Program is open for applications.

The program offers flexible grant awards of $5,000 to $15,000 and a total of up to $500,000 available for distribution through this first cycle.

Eligible applicants include nonprofits, public charities, universities and higher education institutions, and public agencies.

Applications open on Monday and will close on February 6th at 11:59 p.m.

Those in need of assistance during the Spring Cycle can attend the virtual office hours Mondays from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and Fridays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Office hours will be held via Zoom and you will need to register in advance. There’s also an application walkthrough available online.

The Fall Cycle will open on July 13th and run through August 14th offering the same grant range.
