Fit for Fun Center closed for 1 month for renovations

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Fit for Fun Center on South 10th Street will be closed for one month due to a renovation project.

The City of Wilmington says from Monday, June 30th through Wednesday, July 30th, the indoor children’s play center will be closed for a flooring renovation.

The current flooring, original to the building for more than 25 years, will be completely replaced to create a fresh new pad for kids to crawl, play, and explore.

The renovation will include the removal of all existing floors and the installation of brand-new surfaces throughout the entire facility.

All July programs and events will be paused during the renovation, and memberships and passes will be extended for the full length of the closure.
