Former President Donald Trump to make campaign rally stop in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Former President Donald Trump is planning to visit the Port City this weekend.
The former president’s website said he will hold a rally this Saturday at 7 p.m. near Wilmington International Airport.
Doors will open at 3 p.m.
He also held a rally there in 2022.
Trump will have to campaign on weekends for the time being.
Pre-trail arguments and jury selection began Monday in Donald Trump’s historic “hush money” trial.
It’s the first of four criminal trials the Republican Presidential candidate faces.
Trump is accused of falsifying business records to hide payments former fixer Michael Cohen made to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 Presidential election. Trump has pleaded not guilty.
Defendants in New York criminal cases are required to attend trials unless they apply for a waiver for proceedings, and the judge in the former president’s trial has not granted him a waiver.
