Fort Fisher fires two cannons this weekend

FORT FISHER (WWAY) — The Fort Fisher State Historic Site is getting all fired up this Saturday. Folks will get a chance to see cannon firing demonstrations.

Assistant site manager John Moseley said they will be firing two cannons, a six pounder and a 12 pounder.

Moseley said the firing times are as follows:

9:30 a.m.

11:00 a.m.

1:30 p.m.

3:00 p.m.

4:00 p.m.
