Four men arrested on drug charges in Brunswick County
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Agents with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit have arrested four men on separate drug cases.
According to a release, 42-year-old Festes James Lance is being charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver heroin, trafficking heroin, maintaining a vehicle for keeping and selling heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officials say Lance was arrested around 6:30 last night after he was pulled over for a traffic stop. Officials say they found 12 grams of heroin, which equals about 600 bindles, along with $1230 in cash. Lance is in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $100,000 bond.
In a separate incident, warrants show 61-year-old James Earl Crawford is charged with three counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance. Officials say Crawford was arrested following a traffic stop last night. He is in the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $43,500 bond.
On Wednesday, officials say they arrested 23-year-old Zequan Nitez Butler for possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. Crawford was processed in the Brunswick County Detention Facility and released yesterday on a $2,500 bond.
In addition, warrants show 35-year-old Dale Aundray Livingston is charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver cocaine, two counts of possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia at a residence on High Point Street in Calabash. Officials say they arrested Livingston after complaints and tips from the community yesterday. He was booked and later released from the Brunswick County Detention Facility under a $10,000 bond.
