Four-year-old shot in Columbus Co.

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Offices is investigating after a four-year-old was shot early Sunday morning.

Major Bobby Worley said the child was shot just after midnight at an apartment off Mill Pond Road in the Columbus County town of Brunswick,

Worley said the child’s injuries are not life threatening. He said the shooting remains under investigation and arrests have been made.
