Friday’s high school football games switched to Thursday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Hurricane Matthew is heading our way. As a result there won’t be any high school football in our area on Friday night. We’ve posted a list below of the games that have been switched to Thursday.

On a related not the UNCW-Tennessee swimming meet that was scheduled for Friday at UNCW has been cancelled.

Laney at New Hanover (Thursday 7 p.m.)
Ashley at Topsail (Thursday 7 p.m.)
West Brunswick at South Brunswick (Thursday 7 p.m.)
Croatan at North Brunswick (Thursday 7 p.m.)
East Bladen at Pender (Thursday 7 p.m.)
Union at Wallace-Rose Hill (Thursday 7 p.m.)
West Bladen at Trask (Thursday 7 p.m.)
James Kenan at North Duplin (Thursday 7 p.m.)
Whiteville at Red Springs (Thursday 7 p.m.)
South Robeson at South Columbus (Thursday 7 p.m.)
