Fun events happening in the Cape Fear this weekend.

Wilmington, NC (WWAY)—From dancing to lanterns, there is no shortage of fun happening locally this weekend.

Leland Brewing has a day of winter fun planned on Saturday. Frozen at Leland Brewing will have meet & greets, local vendors, delicious food trucks, winter-themed games, crafts & snow play.
music & sing-alongs, and a petting zoo. It takes place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, go to lazy Day Farm’s website.

On Saturday night, the Wilmington Big Band and Cape Fear Swing Dance Society will host a swing dance social. It starts with a beginner’s lesson at 6:30 p.m. for an hour. After the lesson, you can dance till 10:30 p.m. Tickets for the event cost 20 dollars, and it takes place at the historic USO building in downtown Wilmington. Join the Cameron Art Museum for their annual floating lantern ceremony happening on Sunday. Participants can create and design a floating lantern to be placed in their reflection pond, all while enjoying live music, food, and drinks.
